Bilad ("Bilad," "we") runs this website and sells the pieces on it. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, the pieces you order, and any customization notes.
- Trade applications — your firm name, website, city and state, phone, and resale certificate.
- Account details — your email and a password (stored only in encrypted form) if you create a trade account.
- Payment details — card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Browsing and ad data — pages you visit, products you view or add to your order, the ad or link that brought you here, and device and browser information, collected with cookies and similar tools described below.
How we use it
- To process, ship, and support your order, including freight quotes and delivery updates.
- To review trade applications, apply trade pricing, and exempt eligible purchases from sales tax.
- To answer your questions and send messages about your order or account.
- To measure which ads and pages work, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Cookies, pixels, and advertising
We use the Meta Pixel, Google tags (Google Analytics and Google Ads), and the Pinterest tag. They tell us when someone who saw or clicked our ads views a product, adds it to an order, or buys, and they let these platforms show our ads to similar audiences. These companies may combine this information with what they already know about you under their own privacy policies.
You can limit this kind of advertising through your settings at Meta, Google, and Pinterest, by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or through the industry opt-out at optout.aboutads.info.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business — payment processing (Stripe), website and store hosting, email, freight carriers and customs brokers, and the advertising platforms above — and with the Moroccan workshop making your piece, which receives only the specifications it needs to make it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order and tax records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. We keep trade application documents for as long as your trade account is active, and delete them on request after that.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for advertising, by emailing hello@bilad.studio. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we'll honor them as those laws require.
Security
We use encrypted connections, store passwords only in hashed form, keep resale certificates in private storage, and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
This site is for adults and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
