These terms apply to every order placed with Bilad ("Bilad," "we") through this website or by quote. By placing an order you agree to them, together with our returns & cancellations policy, shipping policy, and privacy policy.
Orders
Your order is accepted when we take payment and send the order number. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if a piece can't be made or supplied as described, if a price was shown in error, or if we suspect fraud.
Prices and taxes
Prices are in US dollars and don't include freight, which is quoted after you order. Sales tax is added where the law requires it. Trade prices are available only to approved trade accounts, for purchases for client projects or resale.
Payment
- In-stock pieces are paid in full when you order.
- Made-to-order pieces are paid either in full or with a 50% deposit when you order. With a deposit, the balance is due, together with freight, before your order ships.
- Freight is paid through a secure payment link before your order ships.
Deposits are non-refundable once your order is placed, except as described in our returns & cancellations policy.
Made-to-order and handmade work
Pieces are made by hand in Morocco. Variation in color, glaze, texture, weave, and dimensions is part of handmade work and isn't a defect. Customization notes you give us become part of your order's specification; we'll confirm anything unclear before production starts.
Lead times and delivery
Delivery windows on the site are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. We'll tell you promptly about any delay. Ownership and risk of loss pass to you when your order is delivered.
Returns and damage
Returns, cancellations, and damage claims are handled under our returns & cancellations policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
